Building A New Georgia Home With Brady Builders, Inc.
To get started with your new home, you will first meet with Jason and Mike Brady. They will consult with you getting an idea of what type home you are planning to build and assist you with the process. They will review your house plans and schedule a meeting with your architect of necessary to discuss the details of your plans. If you have property, a site evaluation may be scheduled. You will also be asked about financing of the new home. Do you plan to mortgage the home, pay cash or a combination of the two? We will then tailor a program and design a home to meet your needs. You will be guided through the entire home building process from start to finish. If you are going to be mortgaging the home, we will help you through the mortgage process. Plans and specifications will need to be submitted to the lender along with your loan application. We will help you pull together all the necessary documents and work with you up to loan closing.
Once your loan is closed, a pre-construction meeting will be scheduled to review the plans and specifications. Our architect can help you modify or redesign your floor plans, or if necessary Brady Builders can design a complete plan for your new home. As various stages of the construction are completed, periodic inspections will be made by the local building inspectors. Brady Builders will handle all of the contracting and payment of any work that needs to be done.
After all work is completed on your home and the home is ready to be occupied, the local building inspectors make a final inspection. A Certificate of Occupancy is issued by the county where the house is built permitting you to move into your new home. We strive to build a “perfect” home, but are realistic enough to know that something in the home may not perform as intended. For this reason you will be given a one-year home warranty and any defects will be corrected as soon as we are notified.
